Cooking Our Sausage


  • Always be sure to take a few extra minutes and cook sausages over moderate heat – high heat will burn the surface of the sausage causing the skin to burst and leaving the middle raw.
  • Sausages can leak juices when grilled so keep the fire low to avoid flare-ups
  • To ensure even cooking and avoid burning, turn the sausages regularly – 8 to 10 min per side
  • Don’t overcrowd your grill – leave yourself some room to maneuver


How to Cook the Perfect Sausage in the Oven:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F
  • Sear the sausages on a skillet (preferably cast iron) until nicely browned –2 to 3 min per side
  • Cut the sausage links and place the sausages on a baking tray
  • Cook in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, turning halfway so they brown evenly
  • Before serving check that the sausages are cooked right through to the centre and that no pink remains
