1. Preheat oven to 325F. Temperature control is critical given the size of the turducken – it has to
be cooked at a low temperature in order to prevent burning the turducken’s exterior before the
interior is cooked. Purchase and use an oven thermometer to obtain the correct oven
temperature. Calibration of the oven’s thermostat may be inaccurate.
2. Place the oven rack in the centre position of your oven.
3. Roast in oven at 325F, 20 minutes per pound, covered for the first hour, then uncovered until
the interior temperature reads 165F on your meat thermometer. Baste the turducken every 30
